A Special Note from Your U.M.W. Treasurer

United Methodist Women at Centenary are very special. They are dedicated generous kind and loving ladies. We began as a “Women’s Society of Christian Service” many years ago. We still are a Society – but now we call ourselves “United Methodist Women” and we hold a bond of Christian service. We have a Purpose – to help everyone in need but especially women and children.

It has been my privilege to be your local treasurer for fourteen years – such a rewarding experience, and I thank all of you for your contributions and help in making our women’s service at Centenary so successful. I am a U.M.W. past president and secretary at Centenary and a past district officer. I will be membership chairman in 2010 so you see I will still be active and with all of you.

Judy Blizzard will be your treasurer in 2010, and I wish her the same rewarding walk that I have had.
